YWCA MV was awarded $1,500 from Berkshire Bank to help fund a range of residential services, including two emergency domestic violence shelters and rehousing programs that include intensive case management.

“Our shelters and residential programs save lives every day,” says YWCA MV CEO Dianne Stancato. “The support of Berkshire will go far in helping us to support survivors of domestic violence and help them create safe and independent lives.”

YWCA MV is on a mission to promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. The commitment of Berkshire Bank to close the wealth gap in the Mohawk Valley community provides critical support toward the fulfillment of YWCA MV’s mission.
