This week, we’re proud to officially launch What’s Upstate Interns, an exciting new summer initiative designed to connect interns across the Mohawk Valley region.

While many of our local businesses already offer strong internship experiences, this program takes things a step further, offering a regional layer of engagement to help interns build meaningful connections, discover what makes our area unique, and envision a future right here in our communities.

What’s Upstate Interns provides low-cost, high-impact opportunities for interns to:

• Network with peers and young professionals
• Explore local attractions
• Engage with community leaders
• Kick off their summer at a regional gathering

It’s a simple way for employers to add extra value to their internships—and to help retain the bright talent we already have right here in the Mohawk Valley.
