Utica Zoo Brings Holiday Cheerto Summer with Christmas in July

The Utica Zoo is turning up the holiday spirit — even in the summer heat! Join us for Christmas
in July on Saturday, July 12 from 11AM to 3PM, a festive family-friendly event taking place right in the
middle of Boilermaker Weekend.
Guests of all ages can celebrate the magic of the season with unique holiday-themed activities that
include:
• A special visit with Santa Claus — even on summer vacation, he’s making a stop at the Zoo!
• Dinosaurs! Don’t miss your chance to walk among prehistoric giants before they disappear.
• Games and giveaways inside our fully decorated Zoo Event Center
• Christmas crafts, activities, and photo ops for the whole family
“This is one of our most whimsical events of the year,” says Andria Heath, Executive Director of the Utica
Zoo. “It’s the perfect way to enjoy quality time with family and friends, whether you’re running the
Boilermaker, cheering someone on, or just enjoying a day in the Mohawk Valley.”
