The Utica Zoo is excited to announce the start of Cinematic Safari, an enchanting outdoor movie experience designed for families and film lovers of all ages. Taking place across multiple evenings this fall, the series invites guests to enjoy popular films under the stars—surrounded by the natural beauty of the zoo and the awe-inspiring Dino Discovery exhibit.
Cinematic Safari Schedule:
- Saturday, September 20, 2025 – Turning Red (Rated PG)
- Friday, September 26, 2025 – The Good Dinosaur (Rated PG)
- Saturday, September 27, 2025 – Land of the Lost (Rated PG-13)
- Friday, October 10, 2025 – The Land Before Time (Rated PG)
- Saturday, October 11, 2025 – Jurassic World Rebirth (Rated PG-13)
Event Details:
- Gates Open: 6:00 PM
- Movie Start Time: 7:00 PM
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to explore the zoo and Dino Discovery before the movie begins. From lions and red pandas to animatronic dinosaurs, the zoo offers a truly unique backdrop for a night at the movies.
Ticket Information:
- Adults (13+): $11
- Children (ages 2–12): $8
- Children under 2: Free
- Utica Zoo Members: Standard ticket prices apply
Admission includes full access to the zoo beginning at 6:00 PM. Visitors are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs for comfortable lawn seating.
Concessions: Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Outside food and drink are not permitted.
Tickets will be available online and at the gate, subject to availability.
