The Utica Center for Development (UCD) is issuing a community-wide reminder for its upcoming Memorial Day Parade, taking place on Monday, May 25, 2026.Utica Center for Development Issues Community Reminder for 2026 Memorial Day Parade

The parade will begin at 10:00 AM at 2222 Genesee Street and proceed to the Parkway Recreation Center, bringing together residents, veterans, and local organizations in a shared moment of remembrance and community pride.

As the date approaches, UCD is encouraging the public to mark their calendars, attend, and help spread the word to ensure a strong community turnout for this meaningful event honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

In addition to attendance, UCD is also welcoming participation from local businesses, organizations, veterans’ groups, and individuals interested in being part of the parade. Floats, marching groups, and community displays are all encouraged.

“Memorial Day is an important time for our community to come together in remembrance,” said Vincent Scalise, Executive Director of the Utica Center for Development. “We look forward to seeing residents, families, and veterans join us in honoring those who served.”
