Tickets are $30 for Munson Members, $38 for the general public, and $15 for students and can be purchased at munson.art or by calling 315-797-0055.

Known for their dynamic street performances and vintage sound, this powerhouse ensemble brings history to life with soulful vocals, rich horn harmonies, and driving rhythms on instruments like cornet, clarinet, banjo, and tuba. Their repertoire spans forgotten jazz gems and original tunes, all performed with joy, grit, and a deep love for the music’s roots. Whether on the street or stage, Tuba Skinny delivers an unforgettable, foot-stomping celebration of traditional American jazz.

“Tuba Skinny brings the unmistakable sound of vintage New Orleans jazz straight from the French Quarter to downtown Utica,” remarked Bob Mortis, Munson director of Performing Arts, “Their sound is joyful, soulful, and alive with the spirit of the city’s musical heartbeat.”

Munson’s final Concert in the Court in the 2025–26 season features folk group Live from Laurel Canyon returning on Saturday, March 14, following last year’s sold out concert with their new program “James & Joni: Their Stories, Their Songs.”
