The Community at Sunset Wood Announces Leadership Transition and Appointment of Interim Executive Director
The Community at Sunset Wood announced a planned leadership transition as Executive Director and CEO Dominick Manfredo will be stepping down from his role following a period of service marked by organizational growth, stability, and enhanced programming for tenants.The Board of Directors has appointed Jennifer Carmody as Interim Executive Director, effective May 11, 2026. Carmody has been with The Community at Sunset Wood since 2018 and most recently served as Director of Community Relations. She brings extensive experience in tenant services, operations, and community engagement, and has worked closely with both current and past leadership to support the organizationโs mission.
During his tenure, Manfredo led key initiatives focused on strengthening operations, enhancing the tenant experience, and positioning the organization for long-term sustainability.

As Interim Executive Director, Carmody will oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization and work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. The organizationโs experienced leadership team and staff will continue to support daily operations without disruption.
