Spend your Friday evenings at the Utica Zoo and enjoy the summer for a bit longer!

The Utica Zoo is a perfect place for families, a perfect place for a date, or the perfect location to leave the hustle and bustle of your everyday life behind. Sunset Sips is the newest way to enjoy the Utica Zoo after regular hours. Enjoy a light dinner from Polly’s by O’Connors, crack an ice-cold adult beverage, drift away on the waves of live music, and see our more than 200 exotic and domestic animals in a different, more orange light.

Starting July 10 through August 28, the Utica Zoo will be open every Friday night until 8pm. Sunset Sips is a family friendly opportunity to explore the Zoo after regular hours, or is a great way to unwind with friends after the work week. Masks are not required while seated inside the Rotary Pavilion, but are required elsewhere while on the Utica Zoo grounds. The Zoo’s concession stand, Polly’s by O’Connors, will be open and serving a wide selection of sandwhiches, wraps, hot dogs, burgers, salads, and more, as well as serving beer and wine for visitors 21 years of age or older. Select dates will feature live music from local musicians, while all dates will allow visitors to view the Zoo’s collection of exotic and domestic animals.

No tickets or special reservations are required. Admission rates are $8 for adults, $5 for kids aged 3-12, and $6.75 for seniors 62+ and students with ID. For more information visit UticaZoo.org/sunset-sips or call 315-738-0472.
