Staffworks is recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to join an international supplier/distributor located in Herkimer.
The Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring that scheduled maintenance services for facility equipment are logged properly in the system to ensure optimal equipment efficiency as well as any projects deemed necessary by the Process Improvement Engineer. The ideal candidate would be someone just out of school or with a few years’ experience working with Preventative Maintenance software.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Review equipment manuals for preventative maintenance schedules
- Load information into the system.
- Identify any manual listed mechanical faults
- Suggest strategies to mitigate further problems
- Perform 5S and help sustain the program
- Update the company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree
- Experience in field or similar manufacturing environment
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Mechanical background
Salary range: Based on experience and qualifications.
