The Friends of The Arc Foundation proudly announces Texas-based country music duo, Smithfield, as the opening act for the upcoming Josh Turner concert, happening Friday, April 3rd at The Stanley Theatre in Utica. Smithfield creates a contemporary country sound like no other, mixing the heavily rock-influenced background of Trey Smith with the classical country tendencies of Jennifer Fielder.
Their critically-acclaimed single “Hey Whiskey” garnered rave reviews and was the song that caught the eye of not only Sirius XM and CMT, but it put them on several “Artists To Watch” lists including People, Billboard, Huffington Post, and Rolling Stone among others.
