About School to Work: The Arc’s School to Work program provides transition services for students with disabilities in grades 7–12 across school districts in Oneida County, as well as select districts in Lewis County. Additionally, students have the opportunity to continue their education beyond high school through CollegeWorks, a post-secondary certificate program located at Mohawk Valley Community College. The middle and high school programs are tailored to meet the individual needs of students, with the ability to customize these programs for each school district. Programs are provided within the special education continuum of services, including classroom and community-based learning, indirect and direct teacher consulting, resource room programs, and special classes.
