The Utica Zoo is ecstatic to share that this year, Hotel Utica will be kicking off Christmas with Santa’s Magical Visits! A night of festive family fun that benefits a noble cause, as proceeds from this event will support the Utica Zoological Society, and furthermore, support the lives of the animals at the zoo and important conservation efforts.
This event will take place on Saturday, November 29th at the Hotel Utica, located at 102 Lafayette Street Utica NY, 13502 and is from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, providing three hours packed with magic to last the entire season!
Santa and Mrs. Calus (and even a few other magical friends) will arrive in their horse-drawn carriage pulled by live reindeer, while their twelve holiday elves and winter wonderland princesses sing festive carols.
Santa’s official magician will be patrolling the event with wonders galore, as families choose to visit the petting zoo, toy craft station, and even pick out a favorite elf hat! Children will have the opportunity to write personal letters to Santa himself, and a photo booth with him is available so that families never forget the magic of the night!
Guests can divulge in the warmth of the season by trying the home-made cookies made by Mrs. Claus herself and steaming hot chocolates ready to pour. As the kids start to get sleepy from all the festive fun, they can gather around Santa while he tells stories about his life at the North pole.
