PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER WITH CEREBRAL PALSY BRINGS STORY TO NEW HARTFORD

TWENTY YEAR PRO GREGORY IRON SPEAKS ON OVERCOMING OBSTACLES

On Saturday, May 9th, 2026, Upstate Caring Partners will present Gregory Iron, the world’s only full-time professional wrestler with cerebral palsy, for a speaking engagement at Tony’s of Washington Mills.
Gregory Iron has twenty years of experience as a professional wrestler. He has traveled the world, working alongside some of the industry’s most recognizable names and achieving success, all while navigating the challenges that come with being the only known pro wrestler with cerebral palsy. Iron is the subject of the Emmy Award-winning documentary An Iron Will and has been featured on ESPN, Sports Illustrated, FOX News, as well as numerous major wrestling podcasts including The Steve Austin Show.
In additional to wrestling professionally, Gregory Iron is also a motivational speaker who shares his story with a variety of audiences with the hope of uplifting and inspiring audiences. Iron will talk about his wrestling career and some of the challenges he faced in pursuit of his childhood dream. After the presentation, Gregory Iron will be available for a Q&A, as well as photos and autographs with all attendees.
This event will happen at Tony’s of Washington Mills, located at 3899 Oneida Street in New Hartford, NY, from 11am to 1pm. Gregory Iron is presented by Upstate Caring Partners. The presentation is free and open to the public, with light food and refreshments provided.
