To help raise awareness, educate, and eradicate heart disease, Team Preferred Mutual changed their blue to red and answered phones at the American Heart Association’s Telethon and walked or ran in the Greatest American Heart Walk & Run in Utica, NY, while other team members walked in their own communities with family and friends.

Through raffles and individual donations, Team Preferred Mutual raised over $7,000 for the American Heart Association. While there, Frank Emmerich, Special Investigation Unit Team Lead for Preferred Mutual presented a check to the American Heart Association in the amount of $5,000. “Every person deserves to live a full and healthy life, and by supporting the American Heart Association we are helping to advance education, research and treatment for quality health care, particularly with cardiovascular health for everyone,” commented Frank.
