Notre Dame Schools’ NJROTC competed in the 2026 NJROTC Nationals Academic, Athletic, and Drill Championship
Notre Dame Schools’ NJROTC competed in the 2026 NJROTC Nationals Academic, Athletic, and Drill Championship at the Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL, on Friday, March 27th, and Saturday, March 28th.
Over 630 teams nationwide vie for a spot in the Nationals Championship. The Notre Dame NJROTC unit is one of only 23 schools in the country to have earned the right to participate in this exciting two-day academic, athletic, and drill competition. The Navy Nationals are the most effective competition in JROTC for assessing the program’s overall quality.
Notre Dame NJROTC Unit finished 9th in the nation, earning numerous awards and accolades for their efforts and dedication.
Armed Exhibition team, led by Joshua Caruso, placed 2nd
Unarmed Basic, led by Annette LaBarbera, placed 6th
Armed Basic, led by Shea Williams, placed 6th
Unarmed Exhibition, led by Gracie Guiliano, placed 7th
Colorguard, led by Ella Trinkaus, placed 10th
Athletics placed 9th
Academics placed 9th
Inspection 15th
There were also several individual achievements:
Christiana Jadwick placed 2nd in unarmed knockout
Raymond Maldonado placed 6th in sit-ups
Alexandra Manno placed 4th in sit-ups
Addie Zysk placed 10th in push-ups.
