The Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Cancer Center received a donation from the New Hartford Pop Warner Cheerleading team. The team donated more than 50 goodie bags for patients at the MVHS Cancer Center.
The donation effort was part of the cheerleading team’s annual community service project. The team collected donations for the items in the goodie bags at Pop Warner Football games. The items collected for the donation bags included blankets, books, puzzles, snacks and more.
“The MVHS Cancer Center is extremely grateful to the New Hartford Pop Warner Cheerleading team for their thoughtful and generous donation,” said Cindy Christian, executive director of the MVHS Cancer Center. “We are so grateful they took the time to create these bags for our patients, and we know our patients will be so appreciative of their efforts.”
