MVHS Lab Location Updates

The Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) has expanded its Laboratory services with updated hours and locations.

Lab Services at the Medical Office Building at 601 State Street in Utica are now available seven days a week, including holidays. The new hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lab services will be available at the Children’s Health Center and North Utica Medical Office locations beginning Monday, September 21, 2026.

· Children’s Health Center Lab hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m.).

· North Utica Medical Office Lab hours are Thursday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m.).

A new Lab location will be open at the Faxton Campus starting on Monday, September 21, 2026, located at the Bennett Street entrance. The hours at this new location are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lab services are available for walk-ins or by appointment with online scheduling available through MyChart for MVHS patients. The MVHS Lab offers both clinical and pathology services. The majority of testing takes place at a state-of-the-art laboratory in the Wynn Hospital. The MVHS Lab partners with the Mayo Clinic’s Mayo Medical Laboratories and offers an extensive selection of laboratory tests and clinical expertise.
