Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) proudly announces the graduation of its 2025 residency classes across multiple programs, honoring the accomplishments of more than 30 healthcare professionals who have completed rigorous training in various disciplines.

The graduation ceremony included a welcome address from Maxime Berube, MD, FAAEM, chief academic officer and physician director of Medical Education at MVHS. Remarks were also delivered by Darlene Stromstad, FACHE, president/CEO of MVHS, along with distinguished elected officials Senator Joseph A. Griffo and Assemblymember Marianne Buttenschon. Music was provided by St. Matthew’s Temple Gospel Choir.

Graduates were recognized from the following programs:

• Transitional Year Residency Program
• General Surgery Residency and Preliminary Year Program
• General Practice Residency Program (Dental)
• Family Medicine Residency Program
• Pharmacy Residency Program

“This event not only celebrates academic achievement but also the commitment these physicians, dentists and pharmacists have made to improving health outcomes,” said Dr. Berube. “We are honored to be part of their professional journey.”

Certificates of completion were awarded by each program director, followed by closing remarks from Dr. Berube. The event marks a significant milestone for the institution and the broader healthcare community in the Mohawk Valley region.
