The Masonic Medical Research Institute (MMRI) Summer Fellowship Program offers unparalleled learning and networking opportunities. The 10-week program runs from Friday, May 17, 2024, through Friday, July 26, 2024. Students will work full-time on real world scientific research projects, while being mentored by some of the top scientists in the country.

Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at an accredited university in a science related program, such as biology, chemistry, drug-delivery, genetics, molecular biology, nanomedicine, physiology, and other life sciences, are encouraged to apply. New this year, MMRI is offering a similarly structured program for administrative departments, including human resources, marketing and IT.

Beyond the benchwork, MMRI aims to develop students holistically, offering opportunities for didactic training in cutting-edge research methodologies. Additionally, there will be several networking and educational events focused on student success, including applying to medical and graduate schools and the responsible conduct of research. Non-science fellows will gain knowledge in social media, event planning, dynamics of relationships, code of ethics, data security and more.

Students will gain real-world experience to carry with them throughout their careers, including skills in leadership and the tools needed to succeed in state-of-the-art research.
