The Landmarks Society of Greater Utica is joining a national effort started through the National Trust of Historic Places to show love to historic places by “heart bombing” the Bagg’s Square West neighborhood from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9. Members of the community are welcome to join them.

The group will meet outside of Gerber’s 1933 Tavern, on the corner of Hotel and Liberty streets in Utica. The goal of the heart bombing is to raise awareness for historical preservation and the burgeoning redevelopment of the Bagg’s Square West neighborhood.
