There aren’t many things you can buy for just a dollar these days, but a membership to The Arc, Oneida-Lewis is one of them. Membership at The Arc is open to anyone 18 years of age or older. You do not need to be an Arc employee, family member, someone who receives services, or even know someone with a disability to join. Enrolling is quick and easy through the online membership form available at thearcolc.org. The deadline to become a member for the 2026 campaign is July 31st.

Membership at The Arc requires no ongoing commitment, volunteer service, or other obligations. Members receive occasional updates on agency news, programs, and events, along with an invitation to the organization’s Annual Meeting, where attendance is entirely optional.

 

Membership plays a vital role in strengthening The Arc, Oneida-Lewis’ advocacy efforts on behalf of people with developmental disabilities here at home. A larger membership base helps amplify the organization’s voice when advocating for funding, services, and policies that impact the people it supports. Simply put, Membership has never been more important.

 

The Arc, Oneida-Lewis is one of 35 chapters of The Arc New York statewide organization, which has set a goal of reaching 100,000 members during the 2026 membership campaign. Becoming a member of The Arc, Oneida-Lewis means you’ll be a member of The Arc New York and The Arc United States at no additional cost.
