GPO’s Back-to-School Community Commitment
GPO Federal Credit Union’s 2026 Back-to-School Community Donation Drive is underway, and there’s still time to help local students prepare for the upcoming school year.
Through August 24, all GPO branches and the Administration Building are collecting new, unused school supplies to support students throughout the communities we serve. Donations will be distributed through our partnerships with United Way of the Mohawk Valley, Connected Community Schools, and Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Madison County, ensuring supplies collected at each location stay local and directly benefit students in that community’s school district.
Whether it’s a backpack, notebook, folder, or box of pencils, every donation helps ensure local students have the tools they need to start the school year ready to learn.
Community leaders, businesses, organizations, and residents are invited to support the effort by donating supplies or sharing the initiative with their networks. Together, we can help local students and families start the school year on the right foot.
