GPO’s 2026 Scholarship Recipients

GPO Federal Credit Union is proud to recognize Hannah Rockwell, Ellie Secor, and Grady Gaudet as its 2026 scholarship recipients. Selected for their academic achievement, leadership, extracurricular involvement, community engagement, and written application submissions, each student exemplifies a commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom.

Through the New York Credit Union Association Scholarship Program, graduating high school seniors who apply through GPO are automatically considered for scholarship opportunities at the local, chapter, and state levels. This year, all three of GPO’s recipients were also selected as scholarship winners by the Utica-Rome Credit Union Chapter, earning recognition at both the local credit union and chapter levels.

“Supporting local students as they pursue higher education is one of the most meaningful investments we can make in our communities,” said GPO CEO Nick Mayhew. “We’re proud to recognize Hannah, Ellie, and Grady for everything they’ve accomplished and are excited to see where their futures take them.”

Hannah, a graduate of Dolgeville High School, will attend the University at Buffalo to study Health Sciences and pursue a career in Occupational Therapy. Ellie, valedictorian of Remsen High School, will attend The University at Albany to study Nanoscale Science and pursue a career in research. Grady will attend Le Moyne College to study Biology/Physician Assistant Studies and pursue a career in the medical field.

At GPO, investing in students means investing in the future of our communities. We congratulate Hannah, Ellie, and Grady on their accomplishments and wish them continued success as they begin the next chapter of their educational journeys.
