First Source holds Second Annual “Socks to the Rescue” Drive
To assist the Rescue Missions of Utica and Rome

First Source Federal Credit Union will once again be holding a month-long sock drive to assist the Rescue Missions of Utica and Rome. The event will kick off the weekend of January 9th and 10th at the Utica Comets and UU Men’s Hockey Games. Friday, January 9th bring a new packaged pair of socks to toss on the ice after the Comets First goal of the game. Saturday, January 10th bring a new pair of packaged socks to drop off at the First Source Experience Truck parked at the Adirondack Bank Center’s Labatt entrance prior to puck drop at the Utica University Men’s hockey game from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.

Whether you support Comets Hockey, Utica University Hockey, or both – you can help our local rescue missions each night! In addition, beginning Monday, January 12th all First Source Branch locations will be collecting new socks, or you can order online here: https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guestview/LQKIKYK431VB and the socks will ship directly to First Source. The collection will end on Saturday, February, 14th with delivery to the Rescue Missions of Utica and Rome.

Socks are often the number one item in demand at rescue missions, especially during the winter months. Please help us to provide warm & dry socks for those in need that spend most days outside.
