Providing acts of kindness and showing up for the Community when it matters most is at the heart of First Source.

This week, the First Source Community Engagement Team put that philosophy into action by delivering funds to local food pantries. These contributions help ensure that families and individuals facing hardship have access to essential meals and support during these challenging times.

First Source is deeply grateful to the incredible organizations that make this possible: The Country Pantry, Salvation Army of Utica, Hope House, Catholic Charities of Herkimer County and Catholic Charities of Oneida/Madison County, The Utica Food Pantry, and The Kuyahorra Food Pantry. Their tireless work providing food, meals, and hope to those in need is nothing short of inspiring.

“Our mission goes beyond business—it’s about being a reliable neighbor,” said Pam Way, Community Engagement Manager. “These partnerships remind us that when we come together, we can ease burdens and bring hope to those who need it most. Together, we can make a real difference—because when we say, “We Are Community,” we mean it.”

If you’d like to learn more about these organizations or find ways to get involved, visit their websites or consider donating. Every act of kindness counts.
