First Source Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce several new staff
appointments. Tony Fumarola has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of the Rome Branch; John Calabrese has been promoted to Director of Lending and Technology, and has been appointed to the Executive Management Team; Christopher Dovi, Director of Member Services has been appointed to the Executive Management Team; and Edward Barone has been hired as a Community Development Manager.

Tony has been with the Credit Union in total for 10 years in various roles. He also spent some time in between these First Source roles, as a Commissioner of Elections in Herkimer County. Tony now resides in Rome and loves being a part of the Rome Community. John Calabrese served on the First Source Board of Directors for 8 years while running Express Employment Professionals. That family business transitioned to his son John Jr., and John joined the Credit Union staff full time at the end of 2022.

Christopher Dovi, has been with the credit union for 14 years starting as a Branch Manager, moving through various leadership roles in the organization. With a focus on credit union direction and strategy as well as the overall Member experience, it is fitting that he now join the Executive Management Team.

Edward Barone has recently joined the credit union and was previously employed with Empower Federal Credit Union. His knowledge and expertise are a perfect fit for this new role with First Source.
