Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County (CCE Oneida) is excited to announce its participation in Mohawk Valley Gives, a regional fundraising initiative that brings together local nonprofits and businesses to support the community. From September 15–19, community members are encouraged to make a difference by contributing through CCE Oneida’s online Mohawk Valley Gives platform.
Donations directly support CCE Oneida’s mission of education, sustainability, and community engagement. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps grow programs that enrich the lives of families, children, and community members across the county.
Supporters may choose from several meaningful giving options:
· $5 donation – Purchases a bag of topsoil or mulch for community gardens.
· $150 donation – Funds a commemorative plaque along our garden trail in your honor.
· $200 donation – Provides a raised bed garden kit to promote hands-on learning.
· $250 donation – Covers the cost of a class field trip to our educational gardens.
“Mohawk Valley Gives is a wonderful way to bring the community together in support of programs that make a lasting impact,” said CCE Oneida Director of Operations, Lori North. “Each gift helps us continue providing hands-on experiences and resources that inspire learning and growth.”
