Mark DeCilles has joined AmeriCU Credit Union as Virtual Financial Center Manager.
DeCilles brings with him over 18 years of experience and knowledge, with ten of those years in the credit union industry. In his new role, DeCilles will oversee and manage AmeriCU Credit Union’s virtual financial center’s day-to-day operations while building a solid team and focusing on the local community.
“I am excited to take on this new role. It is my goal to enhance the member experience and provide our members the right financial services to live life, dream big, and achieve financial success,” DeCilles said. “I am a strong advocate for our community and continue to do so through, my personal and professional values. This position gives me the ability to stay connected to our members from anywhere they may be.”
Prior to joining AmeriCU, DeCilles began his career in Hospital Administration. He has served on several boards in the community including Town of Brownville Fire District, Watertown Chamber of Commerce, and the NNY Fort Drum’s Association of the United States Army for 17 years and serving as president for one term during this time.
A graduate of SUNY Brockport, DeCilles holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He also earned a certificate for Health Care Leadership from Cornell University.
DeCilles resides in Upstate New York, where he enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family. This year, DeCilles and his wife Amelia welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
