AmeriCU Credit Union is proud to recognize two local students who were selected as recipients of the Utica-Rome Chapter of New York Credit Union Association Scholarship. Sisters Briana and Amelia Fields were awarded the scholarship to support their upcoming academic journey.

Briana and Amelia recently visited AmeriCU Credit Union’s Commercial Drive location to accept their awards. Both students described the scholarship process as easy to navigate and appreciated the straightforward application experience.

Briana Fields will be pursuing a dual degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at Clarkson University, and Amelia Fields will be pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

The New York Credit Union Association Scholarship Program helps credit union members and their families pursue higher education. Applications for next year’s scholarships will open this fall.
