AmeriCU Credit Union proudly celebrated its 13th Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert as part of Fort Drum Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation’s (FMWR) Mountainfest. The free event brought the community together for an evening of celebration and appreciation, honoring the brave soldiers of the U.S. Army 10th Mountain Division (LI).
Held on June 26, this year’s concert was headlined by acclaimed country music artist Chase Rice, who delivered a crowd-pleasing performance that had fans singing along and cheering throughout the night.
The evening began with a performance by the 10th Mountain Division Band, followed by special guest Priscilla Block, who set the tone with her high-energy performance, adding a lot of excitement to the evening.
“We’re honored to continue this tradition and show our support for the brave men and women of the 10th Mountain Division,” said Ron Belle, AmeriCU President and CEO. “This concert is an opportunity for the community to come together and say, ‘thank you’ to our servicemembers and their families, and all those who sacrifice so much for our freedom.”
This year’s event brought thousands of people together, including service members, their families, and supporters, to enjoy a day filled with fun activities, food, and a live concert. The support and presence of the community made the night even more meaningful for the soldiers and their families.
