Creative Concerts, in conjunction with The Stanley Theatre, are excited to announce that famed Queen tribute band ‘Almost Queen,’ who is

touring with Elton John tribute band ‘Philadelphia Freedom,’ will be performing on December 16 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this two-show event are on sale now and can be purchased through Ticketmaster or by calling The Stanley Theatre Box Office at 315-724-4000. Tickets start at $46.50.

Almost Queen is the most authentic live show since the days of Queen themselves. A deliberate four piece band, Almost Queen delivers a live performance showcasing signature four part harmonies and intricate musical interludes. Donning genuine costumes, the band recaptures the live energy and precision, making it  the ultimate Queen experience.

The band features the incredible musical talents of singer Joseph Russo as Freddie Mercury, Steve Leonard as Brian May, John Cappadona as Roger Taylor and Randy Gregg as John Deacon. Their set lists include fan favorites like “We Will Rock You,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Don’t Stop Me Now” and “I Want It All.”

“These guys are even better than the Queen that’s out there touring,” said famed radio host Howard Stern. With Freddie Mercury passing in 1991, many fans today have never had the ability to see Queen in all of their glory. Almost Queen is the closest act to the original band that fans can see.

Philadelphia Freedom: A Tribute to Elton John is the ultimate and most realistic Elton John tribute currently touring. Doug Delescavage is Elton John as he was in his 20’s, full of joy and unlimited energy, commanding his top notch band through all the hits of Elton’s career. Delescavage owns the stage with his domineering fashion sense rivaling no one but Mr. Captain Fantastic himself.
