The Biergarten at 830 Varick Street is raising a stein to celebrate fall in true Bavarian style with its

annual Oktoberfest Celebration, spanning three weekends of music, food, games, and German
traditions. Guests are invited to enjoy a free, family- and dog-friendly festival packed with
entertainment and authentic Oktoberfest flair.

Weekend Highlights:

Weekend 1: Oktoberfest Music & Traditions (September 20)
Celebrate the heart of Oktoberfest with lively music and cultural traditions. Guests can join in the
Polka Dance-Off, test their vocal skills in the Yodeling Competition, challenge friends in
Oktoberfest Trivia, and watch traditional German dancer performances.

Weekend 2: Taste of Oktoberfest (September 27)
Food lovers rejoice! Explore a Vendor Village of German-inspired bites and activities, sample
sauerkraut, mustards, and bratwursts, and compete in the Beer Label Guessing Game. Guests can
also enjoy the return of the crowd-favorite Yodeling Competition and Sausage Catch Competition.

Weekend 3: Oktoberfest Games & Challenges (October 4)
End the festival with high-energy competitions, including the Barrel Rolling Race, Pretzel Tossing,
Stein Racing, and Sausage Catch Competition.
Throughout the celebration every Friday (September 19 & 26, October 3), guests can enjoy:

• Oktoberfest Beers & Bites
• Beer Pong tournaments
• Pretzel Making workshops
• Stein Hoisting competitions

With free admission, great food and drinks, and activities for all ages, the Biergarten’s Oktoberfest
Celebration is set to be one of the most festive community events of the season.

Before Oktoberfest kicks off, Greensky Bluegrass is a five-piece American bluegrass jam band that
will be preforming on September 18.
