HAPPY NEW YEAR! As a valued partner of the Utica Comets, we are excited to invite you to join us in supporting a heartwarming cause at our upcoming Friday, January 24th home game.
As part of our commitment to giving back to the community, we are hosting a “Sock Toss” during the game, which will take place once the Comets score their first goal. The goal of the event is simple: we encourage fans to bring brand new, unworn socks to the game to be donated to local individuals and families in need.
Why socks?
Socks are one of the most frequently requested items by people experiencing homelessness or in need during the winter months. By contributing to the Sock Toss, you will help keep our community warm this winter.
We are reaching out to our sponsors like you to help spread the word and encourage fans to bring their sock donations to the game. If you’d like to support this initiative in any way, whether through promoting the event or organizing a collection, we’d love to partner with you. And if you can’t make the game, no problem, you can drop your socks off at the Adirondack Bank Center any time before this Fridays game.
