Get ready for an inspiring evening as the Greater Utica Chamber proudly hosts the 2nd Annual National Civics Bee Local Competition at MVCC!

This exciting event brings together some of the brightest middle school students from across our region. After submitting thoughtful essays on real-world civic issues, the top finalists have earned their spot on stage—where they’ll go head-to-head in a live, fast-paced competition testing their knowledge of government, history, and civic responsibility.

The competition features:

• Two dynamic rounds of civics questions
• A live Q&A showdown
• An electrifying atmosphere of learning and leadership

But this is about more than just competition; it’s about empowering the next generation of leaders. These students are diving into issues that affect their communities, strengthening their understanding of civic engagement and laying the foundation for responsible citizenship.

With recognition, prizes, and the opportunity to advance further in the National Civics Bee, the stakes are high, and the future is bright.
