“Ann has demonstrated incredible leadership, dedication, and passion for helping others,” said NBT Bank Territory Manager Tricia Bushee. “Her many contributions have set an example for excellence that will continue on for years to come.”
A staple of the Rome community, Pohl previously managed NBT’s offices in Westgate Plaza and on Black River Boulevard and advanced to the role of Market Manager, overseeing ten offices from Herkimer to Canastota.
Under her leadership, the Rome offices have earned many recognitions for top performance across NBT’s seven-state branch network, including Branch of the Year multiple times and runner up for Market of the Year in 2023.
Experienced branch managers Melanie Kekis and Christopher Siriano will carry on Pohl’s legacy of superior customer service, with Kekis leading the Black River Boulevard team and Siriano managing the Westgate Plaza office.
During her 19-year banking career, Kekis, a Rome native, has worked very closely with the Rome community. She is an active board member of Rome Health Foundation and serves on the Upstate Caring Partners advisory board. Kekis earned her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and is a Leadership Mohawk Valley graduate.
Siriano joined NBT Bank in 2005 and has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility over his 19-year career. Also active in the Rome community, he currently serves on the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors.
