LIFE at RCIL is hosting a virtual training on Thursday, December 9, 2021 on the topic of “Challenging Behaviors & the Legal Rights of Students with Disabilities”. This presentation will offer strategies and suggestions for supporting students with challenging behaviors, including:

  • Summary of legal rights
  • Positive behavior supports
  • Student discipline
  • Use of physical restraints or seclusion.

 

Will also provide an update on the impact of COVID-19 on Special Education Law. Please note that Legal Education will be provided. If you need Legal Advice, an attorney should be retained or consulted who is admitted to practice in your jurisdiction.
