The Workforce Development Board, Herkimer, Madison, and Oneida Counties, Inc. (WDB HMO), DBA Working Solutions, recently launched a new website that provides a large scope of free resources for job seekers and businesses.

In addition to a wide range of information and resources for both job seekers and businesses, our new website provides:

  • The ability for job seekers to search jobs across six counties with our custom job search link, view recent local job postings, and find out about our free training grant programs and eligibility requirements.
  • Users have the ability to subscribe to our blog to get notified of new hiring events, free training/learning opportunities, new featured job opportunities, and “breaking” workforce news. Users can also subscribe to our monthly newsletter on the front page of our website.
  • An online form for businesses to submit job opportunities to be posted on the NYS Job Bank and local Social Media, a contact form to procure recruitment or training services, and the ability view current labor market information and workforce surveys and news.
  • A contact form for businesses and job seekers to request services from our local Business Representatives or local Working Solutions Centers, and much more.

The WDB HMO is part of the Public Workforce System, a network of federal, state, and local offices that support economic expansion and develop the talent of the nation’s workforce. Local Workforce Development Boards endeavor to strengthen the workforce by creating partnerships between businesses and workers that lead to long-term growth and prosperity for both. We serve as a leader and a catalyst for workforce development programs and services, and as a regional partner, creating impactful strategies to meet the region’s immediate and long-term workforce needs and economic development priorities.

During the past 12 months the WDB HMO has trained, provided job placement and other supportive services to more than 500 individuals. Please visit our new website: to take advantage of the free resources we offer, and contact us to find out how we can help.
