The Pike Company (Pike), a fifth-generation construction business, acquired Charles A. Gaetano Construction Corporation (Gaetano) and C2C Construction Solutions, LLC (C2C) on October 31, 2022, retaining all employees and upper management, including in office and field staff.
Founded in 1960, Gaetano is a second-generation, full-service general contracting, construction management and design build construction firm. Gaetano’s impressive portfolio includes work for clients spanning commercial, industrial, healthcare and apartment construction markets, as well as government agencies. Gaetano has been a vital member of the Utica business community for more than 60 years and actively supports many local nonprofit organizations and community events, solidifying its well-established reptation in the Mohawk Valley.
Gaetano’s success with the metal building and various projects in the Design-Build delivery method led the firm to create C2C Construction Solutions, LLC (C2C). Founded in 2018, C2C provides customers with both design and construction services throughout Central and Northern NY. From small to large in plant renovations, major rehabilitations of old manufacturing plants, car dealerships, wood framed buildings and all types of metal buildings, C2C ensures that the integration of the design and construction process is seamless.
Pike is a fifth-generation construction business founded in 1873 and headquartered in Rochester, NY. With a history spanning 150 years, the family-owned organization is well established in the communities it serves across Upstate New York and Central Florida.
