On Tuesday, November 12, 2019, Tim Skjellerup and Alicia Skjellerup, owners of Rome Fit Body Boot Camp presented a donation of $1,054 to the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Breast Care Center.
Tim, Alicia and members of the Rome Fit Body Boot Camp raised the funds during the month of October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.
“We chose the MVHS Breast Care Center to receive our donation because they are known for their compassion and attention to comfort during some of the most devastating times in the lives of individuals facing this awful diagnosis” said Alicia. “Giving back to the community is very important to us, and we are so thankful to have a fitness family that shares the same values and helped make it possible!”
“The MVHS Breast Care Center is extremely grateful to Tim and Alicia as well as all of the employees and members of Rome Fit Body Boot Camp for their generous donation,” said Nancy Butcher, MBA, executive director of the MVHS Cancer Center. “Our patients and their families will benefit greatly from the generosity of these individuals.”
