Project Excite is a USDOL IT/Cybersecurity Grant awarded to the Workforce Development Board of Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties. The grant provides tuition and exam funding for short term training in IT and Cybersecurity certification programs, and job search assistance upon completion of the training.

Grant Eligibility and Award:  Must be a resident of New York State. Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Individuals can receive up to $3,000 in tuition towards an IT or Cybersecurity certification and exam fees. The training can be provided by any reputable training provider or college.
