Have you ever wondered what it was like to live in poverty?  Did you ever wonder why it was so difficult for a family to move up and out of poverty?  Register for Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency’s upcoming Poverty Simulation and find out!  The Poverty Simulation is an interactive training where you will experience the problems, barriers and stress that families in poverty face every day.  The Poverty Simulation is Thursday, March 7^th, at the Rome Family YMCA, 301 W Bloomfield St, Rome.  Refreshments and sign-in are 11 am – Noon; Simulation runs Noon-3 pm.  There is no charge, however, you must pre-register.  Registration may be done at www.mvcaa.com.  The Poverty Simulation is presented in partnership with the Rome Family YWCA and the Rome NAACP.  We would like to acknowledge our sponsor, Total Solutions, for their generous support of this Simulation.  Come and see if you could survive a month in poverty.
