Operation Sunshine and Texas Roadhouse New Hartford have teamed up in honor of #GivingTuesday to “Dine for Dollars.” Any customers who order take-out or dines in at Texas Roadhouse New Hartford at 4511 Commercial Drive between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, can give back when they tell their server they would like to “Dine for Dollars” for Operation Sunshine.
“We’re so excited to partner with Texas Roadhouse this holiday season. This is a perfect way to spend time with family and friends with a great meal while also giving back to the community at the same time,” said Observer-Dispatch marketing and events manager, Katie Giacovelli.
For those that are unable to attend, Operation Sunshine is still accepting donations towards their $65,000 holiday goal. Donations can be made via PayPal on opsun.org or by calling Michele at (315) 792-5003.
Operation Sunshine works with partnering agencies during the holiday season to help provide food, clothing, and toys through various community monetary donations, toy drives, and events. 100% of all donations go directly to local families in need.
Operation Sunshine is a registered nonprofit organization 501(c)(3) and an invaluable resource for partnering charities in Herkimer, Oneida, and Madison Counties. These organizations depend on funds from Operation Sunshine for their seasonal programming.
