Referrals for the Ride Campaign Raises Money for a Good Cause

(Whitesboro, NY) – Central New York based home improvement company New York Sash is proud to make a $1,400 donation to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children from their Referrals for the Ride campaign. New York Sash launched Referrals for the Ride this past June to raise funds in lieu of the annual Ride for Missing Children.

New York Sash is a longtime sponsor of the Ride for Missing Children cycling event, which raises funds and awareness for the plight of missing and exploited children. With the Referrals for the Ride campaign New York Sash made a $50 donation on behalf of every person who referred a friend of family member to the company during the months of June and July.

“The Ride for Missing Children is a great event that we have been a longtime partner of. We are proud and honored to be able to support the prevention of missing and exploited children, even during a time when we are not able to gather together on our bikes,” said New York Sash owner Scot Hayes. “And it is even more meaningful that these donations are a result of community referrals, customers who place their trust in New York Sash,” Hayes continued.

Due to the pandemic the Ride for Missing Children was reimagined into Miles for Hope, a nationwide virtual fundraising event spanning the month of September. In conjunction with raising funds, participants can ride, walk or run in a small group or individually. More information can be found at www.events.missingkids.org.

New York Sash continues their charitable giving year-round with New York Sash GIVES, where a $50 donation is made to a customer’s charity of choice for each referral received. To learn more, visit www.newyorksash.com/referral.
