She has been winning the hearts of listeners around the world with her compelling melodies and sensitive piano techniques since debuting her first recording of original solos for piano, Heal of the Hand.

A prolific composer, Spielberg has 18 recordings to her credit and appears on more than 40 compilations around the world. Her discography includes albums of original piano solos, arrangements of American standards, original pieces for piano/ensemble, holiday recordings, a CD of American melodies, and a CD of lullabies.

The Munson-Williams-Proctor Ars Institute Film Series will screen the beloved holiday classic

It’s a Wonderful Life 2 p.m. Sunday, December 22 in the Sinnott Family – Bank of Utica Auditorium.

George Bailey (James Stewart) has so many problems that he is thinking about ending it all. It’s not until his guardian angel Clarence shows him what the world would look like if he’d never been born that he realizes that his life is, indeed, wonderful. Usher in the holidays by enjoying this heart-warming holiday film on the big screen with the whole family.

Admission is $6 for MWPAI members and $8 for the general public.

Admission for students with valid identification is $4 at all screenings.
