For Kids and Families Spirit of the Holidays Sing-Along
Robin Spielberg brings her Spirit of the Holidays Sing-Along to the For Kids and Families series 1 p.m. Friday, December 27 in the Munson-Williams-Proctor Ars Institute Sinnott Family – Bank of Utica Auditorium. Lyrics to some all-time holiday favorites will be projected on the screen so that the audience can join in and sing. To add to the merriment, a local youth choir will join Robin on stage.
Hailed as one of America’s most popular contemporary female pianists/composers, Spielberg has played Carnegie Hall three times and has been a featured guest on CBS Saturday Morning, PBS, and NPR.
She has been winning the hearts of listeners around the world with her compelling melodies and sensitive piano techniques since debuting her first recording of original solos for piano, Heal of the Hand.
A prolific composer, Spielberg has 18 recordings to her credit and appears on more than 40 compilations around the world. Her discography includes albums of original piano solos, arrangements of American standards, original pieces for piano/ensemble, holiday recordings, a CD of American melodies, and a CD of lullabies.
Admission is $8 for MWPAI members and $10 for the general public.

Stretch some of the stress out of the season! Each class offers a 15-minute introduction to art in the gallery followed by one hour of yoga. All levels of ability are welcome. MWPAI Presents A Special Holiday Film Screening of “It’s a Wonderful Life”
The Munson-Williams-Proctor Ars Institute Film Series will screen the beloved holiday classic
It’s a Wonderful Life 2 p.m. Sunday, December 22 in the Sinnott Family – Bank of Utica Auditorium.
George Bailey (James Stewart) has so many problems that he is thinking about ending it all. It’s not until his guardian angel Clarence shows him what the world would look like if he’d never been born that he realizes that his life is, indeed, wonderful. Usher in the holidays by enjoying this heart-warming holiday film on the big screen with the whole family.
Admission is $6 for MWPAI members and $8 for the general public.
Admission for students with valid identification is $4 at all screenings.
