OB/GYN Joins MVHS as Medical Director of Women’s Health Center and OB Care
Dumisa Adams, MD, MPA, FACOG, has joined the MVHS Medical Group as Medical Director and OB/GYN at the MVHS Women’s Health Center and MVHS OB Care Center, where she will provide inpatient and outpatient care.
Dr. Adams received her medical degree from University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada, where she also completed an internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has also received an Executive Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. She has more than 20 years of experience.
Dr. Adams is accepting OB/GYN patients of all ages as needed. Her offices are located at the Women’s Health Center, 2212 Genesee Street, Utica, New York, and the OB Care Center located at 1656 Champlin Avenue, Utica, New York. She can be reached at 315-801-8317.
Nurse Practitioner Joins MVHS Cancer Program
Debra Iselo, FNP, has joined the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Cancer Center Survivorship Program as a certified family nurse practitioner where she will help patients adjust to changes after treatment.
Iselo earned her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from SUNY Polytechnic Institute, Utica, New York. She has more than 17 years of experience in various nursing specialties.
Iselo is accepting new patients at the MVHS Cancer Center located at the Faxton Campus, 1675 Bennett Street, Utica, New York. She can be reached at 315-624-5241.
Nurse Practitioner Joins MVHS Trauma Center
Kayla Panko, FNP, has joined the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Trauma Center as a certified family nurse practitioner where she will provide care to patients of all ages.
Panko earned her Master in Family Nurse Practitioner and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Utica College, Utica, New York.
Panko has more than four years of experience at MVHS in the Intensive Care Unit.
