Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) announced an expansion of its sign-on bonus program for new employees along with an enhanced referral program for current employees to help with recruitment.
Now, more positions are eligible for a sign-on bonus with up to $1,000 paid out over the course of a year of employment, in addition to the existing $5,000 and $10,000 bonuses for new and experienced RNs.
The referral bonus program for existing employees has also been enhanced. Current MVHS employees can get up to $5,000 for referring an RN and many other positions are eligible for up to $1,000. The list of eligible positions for both programs includes:

- Psychiatric Assistants
- ED Assistants
- Dialysis LPNs
- PCT (Dialysis)
- Unit Secretaries
- Monitor Techs
- Ward Clerk I

- Respiratory Therapist/Technicians
- Laundry Service Workers
- Social Service Caseworkers
- Phlebotomists
- Housekeeping/EVS
- Nutrition Services Positions
- Laundry Positions
