MVCC to offer free safety training on warehousing and storage hazards Mohawk Valley Community College, through a grant from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), is offering a free training to those working in warehousing, manufacturing facilities, or storage facilities in the Mohawk Valley (Oneida, Herkimer, Madison, Onondaga, and Lewis counties) until Sept. 30, 2020.

 

The class, “Warehousing and Storage Hazards,” is a four-hour training that can be provided on-site (or at another central location) and at flexible times to accommodate various shifts. Topics in the training will include contact and exposure hazards, materials moving, and fall prevention.
