MVCC awarded $41,000 from Berkshire Bank Foundation to support local entrepreneurs and thINCubator

The Mohawk Valley Community College Foundation, Inc., was awarded a three-year $36,000 naming sponsorship and an additional $5,000 from Berkshire Bank Foundation to support MVCC’s entrepreneurial ventures at thINCubator and the College’s Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!), respectively.

β€œBerkshire Bank understands the importance of providing financial education to assist local communities to fuel small businesses,” stated Jennifer Hunt, AVP, commercial administrative manager. β€œWe are proud to support Mohawk Valley entrepreneurs with tailored financial solutions to empower communities to innovate businesses, create jobs, and grow wealth.”

Today, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held with Berkshire Bankers and the Mohawk Valley Community College Foundation.

The naming sponsorship will turn thINCubator’s Community Room into the Berkshire Bank Room, a critical resource for startups and small businesses in the region, according to thINCubator Director Ryan Miller.
