MPW Marketing, a full-service advertising and marketing firm in Clinton, recently announced the addition of Vera Chapman as account manager to its team of marketing experts.
Chapman is responsible for serving as an essential liaison between MPW and its clients. After she helps clients to uncover their unique positioning, Vera manages the execution of their marketing plans by leveraging the agency’s time and talent to meet project deadlines. Her role is to become the in-house expert on each of her clients in order to help them reach their goals.
Chapman comes to MPW with a strong background in client services, project management and organization. Prior to this position, she held roles as career advisor and associate director of career development at Colgate University in Hamilton where she advised students and alumni how to market themselves to potential employers, which taught her valuable client management skills.
Chapman has also served as an online instructional assistant professor at the University of Mississippi for the past two years and an online instructor at Augusta University for the past year. This experience nurtured her ability to manage projects and communicate effectively. She has a doctorate in higher education administration and a master of education in counselor education from The University of Mississippi; an honors degree in psychology from the Stellenbosch University; and a bachelor of science in human physiology, genetics, and psychology from the University of Pretoria, both in South Africa.
