The Berkshire Bank Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Berkshire Bank, invested more than $500,000 in communities across its five-state footprint through grants and other giving in the second quarter of 2024.
Mohawk Valley and Central New York nonprofits were among the 150 nonprofit organizations supported from April to June by the foundation, including:

- Community Foundation of Herkimer And Oneida Counties Inc.
- Contact Community Services Inc.
- Learning Disabilities Association Of Central New York Inc.
- McMahon-Ryan Child Advocacy Site Inc.
- Rome Art And Community Center.
